After an extensive RFQ process, we were hired to be the strategic partner for the Upper Willamette Soil & Water Conservation District, a small and virtually unknown public agency in the area. The agency is engaged in the protection of the environment in a portion of Lane County. They were facing intense pressure to create awareness for their organization ahead of a public campaign for bond funding. The organization had gone out for a bond several years earlier and they were unsuccessful in garnering community support. We developed a strategic communications plan for the organization working with their board to meet the important communications needs of this organization. We were also the marketing partner working with the Political Action Committee (PAC) on the outreach to voters.

Results: We developed a comprehensive and integrated campaign to reach voters in the district. We managed both the informational outreach as well as a persuasive campaign to engage voters in this tax measure. Ads on YouTube and Google search and retargeting garnered more than 125k impressions as well as 36k engagements (clicks, video views, etc.). Facebook ads reached more than 54k people with 366k impressions. The measure passed with a 60% favorable vote.
