Pleasant Hill & Goshen Fire Departments

When the Pleasant Hill & Goshen Fire Departments needed a partner to help them pass a consolidation and permanent tax rate measure, they hired us to navigate the complexities of this campaign. Our team worked with local county leaders and election officials to get the measures on the ballot. We then helped develop informational materials and gain Safe Harbor approval from Oregon’s Secretary of State’s office, and consulted on process and presentations. We also advised the elected board’s political action committee (PAC) in development of materials and ways to win an election.

“I just wanted to extend a big thank you for your team’s expertise and help getting our 3 measures passed. We could not have done it without you. We appreciated the advice and consultation on how our board could set up an advocacy campaign to add to the Pleasant Hill Goshen Fire Department’s information campaign. Working together with Funk/Levis we were able to pass the needed measure with a sizable margin after others had failed before. Thank you.”

Todd Anderson, Board Chair

“Funk/Levis came into our organization in the most important time in our history. Our organization faced a major funding and structure decision in the community that combined years of efforts into a long-range dynamic plan for stabilizing our emergency services. Funk/Levis provided an element of professionalism and knowledge with a personal touch. They were never far away, never afraid to provide guidance and direction, and always ready to push forward. We couldn’t have done it without their support and service. I would encourage anyone facing a mountain to bring on the supportive team of Funk/Levis to help accomplish their goals. We’re better for it!”
